Card condition: NM, LP, MP, HP and DMG
Every loose card at Nordic Pulls is assessed against the hobby’s usual scale before it is listed. That is our own assessment of the card, not professional grading by PSA, BGS or CGC. Each card is also photographed as it is — the pictures on the product page are the copy you receive, not a catalogue shot.

NM
Near Mint
- What it looks like
- Looks nearly fresh out of the booster pack. It may carry one or two microscopic nicks or faint handling marks, but no real edge whitening, no bends and no surface scratches.
- Play status
- Unplayed.

LP
Lightly Played
- What it looks like
- Minor wear. Expect slight corner or edge whitening on a small part of the card, or very faint surface scuffs visible only on close inspection.
- Play status
- Tournament-legal when sleeved.

MP
Moderately Played
- What it looks like
- Obvious wear, visible without a close look: noticeable edge whitening, multiple surface scratches, scuffing, or small bends and creases that have not ruined the card’s structure.
- Play status
- Usually still tournament-legal when sleeved.

HP
Heavily Played
- What it looks like
- Heavy, widespread wear. Deep scratches, severe border whitening, heavy scuffing, or prominent creases and dents.
- Play status
- May fail tournament legality checks even inside an opaque sleeve, because of the structural damage.

DMG
Damaged
- What it looks like
- Extreme structural defects: heavy creases, tears, water damage, ink stains, missing pieces, or layers beginning to separate.
- Play status
- Not tournament-legal. Generally bought only where the card is rare enough that any copy is still wanted.
A loose card has left its packaging and is therefore sold as a used item, however clean it is. Sealed products are sold as new.
Singles ship in a sleeve and toploader inside a padded envelope, so the card arrives in the same condition it left in.
